I'm working outside! I'm on one of my study sites, a forest that has grown on an abandoned agricultural site. I'm pruning a a cherry tree (Prunus serotina). I had planted it some years ago, and I'm back to evaluate its potential to produce quality wood.
It's really beautiful outside, I'm wearing light clothes and enjoying the day. On other sites, it would be unthinkable. I'd be eaten alive by mosquitoes.
