Friday

I'm back on the field. A regional organization, which helps private landowners who want to grow trees on their land, asked me to study a fallow site. I was asked if the owner could puit there an experimental poplar plantation...

After evaluating the site, I conclude that this would not be a good idea. Water drainage isn't good, it would kill the poplars that we would plant there. It's not all about planting trees, we must link the right tree with the right location.
